How It Works

Browse gift card campaigns

Call the gift card campaigns endpoint to see which brands are available (Steers, Takealot, Woolworths, and many more).

Issue a gift card

POST to the gift cards endpoint with the campaign ID, balance amount, and the recipient's mobile number (userRef).

Yoyo delivers via WhatsApp

Yoyo automatically sends the gift card to the recipient's WhatsApp. No additional integration needed on your side.

Recipient redeems at POS

The recipient uses the gift card at the brand's point of sale. The value is deducted from the gift card balance.

Gift cards support multiple redemptions

Unlike single-use vouchers, gift cards can be redeemed multiple times until the balance is exhausted. Each redemption generates a new wiCode token.
